ADA Compliance Scanner is a free Chrome extension by Alex Kim. It uses axe-core to check the page you open for automated accessibility issues, then helps you locate findings and share the next steps.

- The current page and accessible frames in the state you scan. It does not crawl every page of a website.
- AI workflow
- Copy text from the extension and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or your coding assistant. There is no direct AI-service connection or automatic code editing.
- What a score means
- A summary of selected automated findings. It does not certify accessibility or ADA compliance.
Install from the official Chrome Web Store listing. The store shows the currently published version and permissions. The demonstration media on this site was captured from the v2.2.2 interface and scanning engine on a local sample page; a newer release can produce different findings.

Scanning and sharing
Scanning and report generation happen locally in the browser. The extension does not send the scanned page to an AI service. You decide whether to export a report or paste a prompt into another tool, whose own data policies then apply.
Exports can contain page addresses, visible text, selectors, and HTML snippets in JSON reports. Review what you share. Read the extension privacy policy for the product’s data practices.

Start with the Chrome setup guide, use a focused scan to find issues, and follow it with manual testing. Guides link to original standards and documentation where relevant. Examples illustrate individual checks and are not a conformance claim.
